Learn how to make pizza rolls at home! This healthy pizza rolls recipe is so delicious and an easy healthy snack!
This week, Alyssia takes you along with her to the grocery to pick out one of her FAVORITE unhealthy foods, PIZZA ROLLS, and lighten them up with her own healthy recipe. Thanks for tuning into a brand new season fitfam! Looking forward to many more!
HOMEMADE PIZZA ROLLS
½ cup diced mushrooms
½ cup diced zucchini
½ cup finely diced onion
½ cup chopped spinach
1–2 tsp garlic
2/3 cup sauce (I use Classico Tomato & Basil for lower sugar!)
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
about 40 wonton wrappers
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Sautee vegetables, garlic, garlic powder and salt and pepper in a skillet until cooked.
3. Add sauce to vegetable mixture.
4. Fill each wonton wrapper with about 1 tsp sauce mixture and 1 tsp mozzarella cheese.
5. Fold into pizza roll shape and crimp edges to seal.
6. Bake for 10-15 minutes, until browned, flipping halfway through.
This recipe yields 10 servings (4 rolls).
